Reflections from the Beach this 911

The sun shines brightly today but traces of a stormy night lie evident upon the shore. Peace washes in with the lap of each wave as the tattered beams of a wooden ship are battered about, tied in seaweed and debris.

Life moves on amid the rubble and all each of us can do is live each day to the fullest, aware of the brevity of its beauty. If we can get up each day ready to inhale the energy and experiences we are presented and go to bed each night knowing we have lived, loved and shared as honestly as possible, then we have done good…..not only for ourselves but for each other.

There is no lifeguard on duty. We each swim at our own risk during this short journey. That is what we should never forget this day.
